Emilia Law 
General Counsel, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mastercard 

Emilia Law is the General Counsel for the Eastern EEMEA region at Mastercard. Based in Dubai, she plays a key role in shaping the company’s legal and regulatory strategy across a diverse and fast-evolving region. As a member of the EEMEA Executive Leadership Team, she supports Mastercard’s business priorities through strategic legal counsel and risk management.

Emilia joined Mastercard in October 2024, bringing over 15 years of international legal experience from leading organizations including Blackstone and Novartis. She has worked across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, advising on complex cross-border matters and navigating regulatory environments in a wide range of sectors.

She holds a Master’s degree in French and Russian from the University of Oxford and is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Emilia is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, leading a multicultural legal team spanning more than 15 nationalities. She is passionate about mentorship and actively supports young women entering the legal profession.
