Sandeep Agarwal
Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Sandeep Agarwal currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa (APEMEA) at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible for driving the region’s financial strategy, ensuring disciplined growth, and supporting the execution of Mastercard’s long-term vision across diverse and dynamic markets.

Sandeep is also the Business Excellence Lead for the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region, where he spearheads the regional vision to sustain double-digit revenue growth by accelerating investments in priority markets and developing strategic business plans across Divisions and Market Development. He also advises on matters related to regulatory focus, the competitive landscape, and localization priorities.

Since joining Mastercard in 2012, Sandeep has held several senior finance leadership roles, making significant contributions to business growth, organizational development, and talent advancement across the region.

Before Mastercard, he was with Barclays UAE as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, leading optimization projects that reduced the cost base and redirected capital toward higher-yielding portfolios. He also headed Financial Planning and Analysis for the Retail segment at Citibank India.
