Mastercard Day Puerto Rico Emphasizes the Role of Innovation in Driving Digital Transformation across the Caribbean

Held at the historic Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in San Juan, Mastercard Day reaffirmed its role as a regional platform for exploring how technology, innovation, and cultural connection can drive digital transformation across Latin America and the Caribbean.

One of the central themes of the event was technology as a driver of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) growth and their integration into the digital economy. The discussions also covered trends in online payments that enable faster, more secure, and more personalized experiences, as well as the value of brands in forging emotional connections with consumers. In addition, the event highlighted how culture, identity, and community can serve as engines of economic opportunity.
