Mastercard and WestJet announce the launch of the Priceless Platform in Canada, offering cardholders exclusive, always-on access to Priceless experiences

The first Priceless Platform launch in Canada comes after a long-term extension between Mastercard and WestJet

Today, Mastercard and WestJet are announcing the launch of the first ever, always-on Canadian Priceless Platform. The platform will allow WestJet RBC® Mastercard® cardholders to tap into a world of card benefits, offers and Priceless experiences through a unique microsite: priceless.com/westjet.

The launch comes after the companies extended their long-term partnership last year, providing Canadians with more ways to improve their travel experience. Consumers are looking for products and services that elevate their journey and the Priceless Platform allows cardholders to choose experiences based on their lifestyle and passions. WestJet is the first partner to bring this platform to Canada as it further enhances the great travel benefits provided to WestJet RBC Mastercard cardholders.

Globally, consumers have prioritized meaningful experiences over material goods, even when traveling. Spending on experiences now totals 12 per cent of tourism sales, according to the recent findings from the Mastercard Economics Institute’s Travel Trends 2024. This marks the highest point percentage of spending on experiences in at least five years as of March 2024.

Through the Priceless Platform, cardholders will have access to unique experiences in the world's most exciting destinations. These Mastercard Priceless experiences include access to world-class events, cooking classes with famous chefs, and tours of some of the most iconic sites in the world.

The Priceless Platform helps Canadians make memories that last a lifetime. Launching this fall, WestJet RBC Mastercard cardholders will also have exclusive access to one-of-a-kind experiences in some of WestJet’s key destinations.   

Inclusion of the Priceless Platform will further enhance the incredible value the WestJet RBC® Mastercard® and the WestJet RBC® World Elite® Mastercard® provide to Canadians.
